In short: DocHelp’s own cleaning team cleans medical centres in Melbourne to the RACGP infection-control standard — hospital-grade disinfectant, scheduled fogging and a signed log at every visit — priced by clinic size.
Our own RACGP-standardised cleaning team for medical centres — hospital-grade disinfectant on every clinical touchpoint, a signed cleaning log at every clinic, and competitive pricing because we don’t subcontract. Infection prevention is the area most practices fail at assessment. We make it the easiest one to pass.

Almost every practice we assess is clean. Almost none can show an assessor a schedule that says which surfaces are cleaned with which product and how often, or a log that shows it happened last Wednesday. That gap is what fails infection-control criteria — and the cleaner practices hire from the office-cleaning market doesn’t know the RACGP Standards exist.
We built our own cleaning team because we were tired of fixing this in the practices we manage. The program is written to the RACGP Standards for general practices, delivered by staff trained on clinical rooms, and evidenced with a signed log at every visit. When we prepare a practice for accreditation, the cleaning is already done properly.
Fortnightly, monthly, six-monthly and annual tasks are scheduled automatically across the service calendar, with application records kept for accreditation.
After-hours ULV fogging of the whole practice with a TGA-listed agent — a long-residual mould and bacteria barrier plus antiviral surface protection, with application records.
Six-monthly interior and exterior insect-repellent barrier treatment — entry points, skirtings, window frames and door surrounds — after hours.
Fortnightly decontamination of treatment beds and associated surfaces, on top of the weekly wipe-down.
A log at every clinic, signed at every visit, covering the scheduled tasks — the piece of evidence assessors ask for first.

The RACGP Standards for general practices require a documented infection prevention and control approach: which surfaces are cleaned, how often, with what, by whom, and evidence that it happened. Our program is written to that standard — a room-by-room schedule, TGA-listed hospital-grade disinfectant on every clinical touchpoint, and a signed cleaning log kept at the practice so the evidence exists before the assessor asks for it.
Most practices run a twice-weekly program: a mid-week maintenance clean and a weekend deep clean, with bathrooms, kitchen, bins and hand-hygiene stations done every visit. Fortnightly, monthly, six-monthly and annual tasks — bed linen, glass, skirtings, fogging, pest prevention — are scheduled automatically across the calendar. Daily and after-hours programs are available for larger clinics.
No. Clinical, cytotoxic and sharps waste stays with the practice’s licensed waste contractor, as it must. We empty, re-line and wipe general waste bins throughout the practice, and we wipe sanitary units externally and tell you when collection is due.
A TGA-listed hospital-grade disinfectant on clinical surfaces, hospital-grade wipes for high-touch points and equipment housings, a residue-free carpet sanitiser after vacuuming, dedicated screen and electronics wipes for monitors, keyboards and phones, and a TGA-listed agent for the periodic antimicrobial fogging. We supply all equipment and consumables; the practice supplies washroom paper, soap and linen, which we restock each visit.
By clinic size — small (3–4 consulting rooms), medium (5–7) and large (8–12) — after an on-site walkthrough, with a set price per visit and fortnightly invoicing. Groups with five or more clinics get an enterprise rate with all scheduled tasks, including fogging and pest prevention, in the standard fee. Pricing is competitive with general commercial cleaners because we run our own team rather than subcontracting.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons practices call us. We walk the practice, set up the schedule and the log, and run the first deep clean so the infection-control evidence is in place before the assessment visit.
