What we do

DocHelp runs the operational side of general practice for practice owners and doctors. Founded by Jamal Al-Sharifi, Melbourne.

The difference

Operators, not theorists.

01

We embed

We sit with reception, nurses and managers and work through every scenario. Weekends included when a deadline demands it.

02

We hand it back

The aim is a team that stays compliant, profitable and full without needing us back every year.

03

In-house teams

IT, drafting, design and build are our own people. One contact, one invoice.

04

Still running practices

The founder oversees ten‑plus medical centres today and has built and sold two.

Common questions

Questions practice owners actually ask.

The short answers. Every service page has its own questions too.

What does DocHelp actually do?

DocHelp runs the operational side of medical centres so owners and doctors don’t have to. That covers RACGP, AGPAL, QPA and QIP accreditation; compliance documentation; a full clinic audit of financials and productivity; practice setup and fitout; medical centre plans drafted in-house with design, renovation and build teams; our own IT team for servers, networks, Best Practice and Cubiko; pathology contracts and medical supplies at partner pricing; reception, nurse and practice manager training; staff and doctor recruitment including overseas-trained doctors; marketing; turning around struggling centres; and ongoing operations and advisory support. One team, embedded in your practice, instead of ten contractors.

Do you only work with practices in Melbourne?

We are based in Melbourne and do most on-site work across Melbourne and surrounds. We travel for the right engagement and support practices across Australia remotely: remote practice management, documentation, training and systems work all run well online.

How does the free practice audit work?

We spend two to three hours on site walking through your practice against the current RACGP Standards and the way it actually runs day to day. You get a written report listing every gap and risk we found. There is no obligation and no pitch: if you want help fixing what we found, we quote the scope.

How do you charge?

Accreditation engagements are typically 50% upfront and 50% on a successful accreditation result. Setup, training and rescue work is quoted as a project after the audit. Operations and advisory support is available as a monthly retainer. Every quote is based on what your practice actually needs, not a package.

Are you consultants?

Not in the usual sense. We don’t hand over a checklist and leave. We come into the practice, sit with reception, nurses and managers, write and implement the documentation ourselves, train the team, and stay until they can run it without us. The founder still oversees ten-plus medical centres today, so every recommendation comes from running real practices.
