DocHelp is a Melbourne-based medical practice consultancy operated by Jamal Al-Sharifi. This policy covers the website dochelp.com.au and how we handle any personal information you give us through it. We take the Australian Privacy Principles as our benchmark, and this whole policy comes down to one idea: we only hold what you choose to send us, and we only use it to help you.
Only what you type into a form or send us directly. Our enquiry and tool forms ask for your name, your role, your practice name, your email, your phone number (optional), and your message or the results of a tool you've used — plus a tick-box if you'd like a call or text back. If you email or call us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us. That's it. We don't buy data, scrape data, or collect anything behind the scenes.
To respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the work. Nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list, we don't send newsletters you didn't ask for, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.
When you submit a form on this site, it's delivered by Web3Forms — a form delivery service — straight to our email, [email protected]. From there it stays in our inbox and our working files for your enquiry or engagement. No mailing lists, no marketing databases, no third-party CRMs quietly collecting in the background.
Web3Forms passes your form submission from the website to our email; it processes the submission in order to deliver it. Cloudflare hosts and serves the website through its global network, and like every web host keeps standard server logs (things like IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces on this site, which load from Google's servers when a page opens. Each provider receives only what it needs to do its one job.
This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and does no cross-site tracking. There's no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no ad retargeting. We'd rather earn your enquiry with a useful website than follow you around the internet.
As long as we need it to handle your enquiry or engagement, plus whatever our legal and tax obligations require us to keep (invoices, engagement records). If you'd like your details deleted sooner, ask — see your rights below.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you believe we've mishandled your information and we can't resolve it together, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
DocHelp works with practices, not patients. We don't want, and don't need, any patient or clinical information through this website. Please don't include patient names, health details or anything from a clinical record in a form or email to us. If your enquiry touches on patient data — say, a software migration — we'll handle that inside your practice's own systems under a proper agreement, not over a web form.
